Rowena is an experienced petrographer/geologist with over 25 years of post-doctoral experience in the exploration and mining industry in Australia and overseas. She is highly skilled in petrography, mineral and textural identification and micro-analysis, and have extensive knowledge of most mineral systems including VHMS, epithermal, porphyry, IOCG, carbonatites, pegmatites, and intrusion related gold deposits. She has presented papers at many conferences, has been published in peer-reviewed journals, and has contributed to several technical books. She volunteers on several professional committees (SEG, AIG, AusIMM) and mentors many younger female and male geoscientists. Rowena believes in good communication, excellent descriptions and timely delivery of comprehensive and well illustrated reports.
